Ryan had a great time and was nice and worn out by the time we left to drive home :) Some of his favorite exhibits were RiverPlay, which involved playing with lots of water, Excavation Station -- who wouldn't love digging for dinosaur bones in a big sandbox?!?!, Buzz Alley where he got to pretend to be a bee and climb in a giant beehive, and the Inventors' Clubhouse, his favorite exhibit due to the balls and air blowing tubes.
Anyone up for a little water fight?
A dinosaur bone! {or a tool ... nothing beats having a good imagination :)}
R was a natural on the harp :)
He loves stamping things in Play-Doh {or clay in this case}!
R had so much fun blowing any and everything he could find with air, in addition to making the different balls float {thanks to Bernoulli's principle}!!
The Rooftop Fun Factory was full of simple machines such as this pulley swing, however, it was a little chilly up there without our coats so we didn't play long.
Our cute little bumble bee :)
Having fun on the RiverPlay playset with some other kids.
Trying to make a big bubble around Ryan, but it was too windy.
We spent several hours at the museum, leaving right before it closed for the night. And it was a good thing the museum was closing because at that point I would have stayed all night. I had no desire to drive home or to tell David goodbye for another 2 weeks -- it was the hardest time yet, besides when he left in October. So glad we have less than 2 months left of living apart {and only 3 more weekends that we will not see each other}!!Nothing beats goodbye pics in the parking deck! :)
Well, that sums up our SUPER fun weekend in Chattanooga. And since it took me most of 2 weeks to get all 4 parts posted, I am now off to start packing for our weekend trip to Kentucky :)
