The little guy and I have had a BUSY, but fun week! Here are a few of the things we did {in list form}:
1. Spent a rainy Monday straightening up the house in anticipation of putting up Christmas decorations very soon {David would have already put them up -- so glad he is excited about it! And, don't get me wrong, I love decorating for Christmas, but just couldn't bring myself to put them up before Thanksgiving},
2. Had playgroup at our house,
3. Went over to a friends house to visit/play one afternoon after Ryan's nap,
4. Had dinner with Grammy
5. Took a 1.5 hour walk one morning with another friend and her daughter followed by playtime at the park {the kiddos treat for sitting in the strollers for this long},
6. Visited the pediatrician as Ryan has his second ear infection of 2010 {and we are hoping it is the last one for the year!},
7. Replenished our fridge and pantry with food from Walmart, Kroger, and Publix {we were on empty, and let me add that this only happened because my fourth straight night of tutoring this week was cancelled},
8. Enjoyed a wonderful morning of fellowship at MOPS {which meant a fun morning playing in Moppets for Ryan -- he didn't even want to leave when it was time},
9. Went out to lunch with Pop, and
10. Took a trip to the Zoo with friends from our playgroup. This was our second trip to the Zoo this year. Ryan just LOVES seeing all the animals! He screams when you make him leave one exhibit to move onto another one -- guess he doesn't realize there are many more animals to see. I am contemplating buying an annual membership so we can go a lot more often -- just wish I knew that we were going to live in this state next year :(

The Giraffe Family -- baby was born in July.
Trying to get a picture of Ryan and Alyssa on the Giraffe statue but this is the best I could get as they just wanted to play :)
R checking out some more goats and the sheep. When he saw the sheep he made a "baa" noise -- made me proud! He is such a smart boy!
R loved this pig :) Although I am not sure what the attraction was, myself.
On the carousel with the kiddos. They enjoyed it so much, we rode twice!
The train ride was a big hit too :)
Whew! That wore me out all over again just typing it :) Hope y'all had a great week, too!
