Then, using the list we brainstormed, we I made a very cute turkey centerpiece by (1) writing each thing for which we are thankful on a construction paper feather, (2) wrapping a big styrofoam ball in dark-brown yarn, (3) making another smaller ball out of light-brown yarn, (4) creating simple facial features out of felt, and (5) assembling everything together with glue and wooden craft sticks. Crafts are so much fun :) Here are a few pictures of the finished product. I love how it turned out!
